The movie finishes, the music sounds and the credits start to roll. I stretch slightly, and Lunar moves as if she’s going to get up.
“I’d better go. It’s getting on, and the club will be wondering where I am.”
Annoyance floods through me that they have so much control over her, but I understand she feels like she has a duty to them and won’t stand in the way of that.
“Okay, I’ll walk you out.” Even though my cock is screaming at me for not making a move on her and letting him be entertained for the night. We stand up from the bed, she grabs her handbag, and we head for the door. She’s in front of me and my eyes instinctively look down to her curvy ass, it’s perfect, and my cock aches so badly I want to scream. Gnawing on my bottom lip, I feel like I can’t let her leave without at least tasting her fruity lips. I need to get some sort of satisfaction tonight. So I pull her arm making her turn around quickly and slam her against the wall. Grabbing her wrist, raising it high above her head, my other hand moves to her neck, wrapping my fingers around it firmly but not tightly as I look into her eyes. Her chest heaves as I press my body against her, and she licks her lips as they part slightly. That’s all the invitation I need, so I move forward pressing my lips to hers forcefully.
Her free hand wraps around my waist pulling me to her harder as my tongue moves with hers. Warmth radiates from my chest and floods me, sinking through my body all the way to my toes. I’m not sure what it is, but it’s like molten lava filling every pore and crevice of my being as she kisses me back with fiery passion. I didn’t know first kisses could be this hot.
Lunar’s leg moves up and wraps around my waist, making my hard cock grind into her pussy as she moans into my mouth. Our tongues move together in unison as I grind into her hard. My thumb grazes up and down the silkiness of her throat, while my hand clenches on her skin. Our bodies grind together in an intensity that’s so hot, the chemistry between us is igniting a brilliant burn.
My hand on her wrist tightens, she moans into my mouth pressing her pussy into my hard cock. A low throaty growl erupts from my chest while we move together in complete synchronization.
This kiss is frantic, it’s fiery, and it tells me that she wants me just as much as I want her.
She tastes fucking delicious. As I nip at her bottom lip I draw it in with my teeth and suck on it. She moans running her hand up under my shirt, digging her nails into the muscles of my back. Grinding into her one last time, letting her know that my cock is aching for her, I pull back lazily. Her lip is still between my teeth, then I slowly draw it through them. She whimpers pushing her pussy against me even further as our foreheads meet. We pant breathlessly as we gaze into each other’s eyes.
Every first kiss should be like that—hot, sexy as fuck, and full of electricity. This babe is something else.
“All kisses should be like that.” I look into her eyes so she knows I’m serious as I let her wrist go and she moves her hand around my neck threading her fingers through my hair.
“Yeah, they definitely should. That tongue ring is something else,” she murmurs.
I smirk and pull back letting her come away from the wall. “Have a good night, Lunar.” I reluctantly let her go even though my cock is crying like a baby at me, begging for her to stay.
“You too, Danger. I’ll see you soon, I’m sure.”
I step with her over to the door and click it open. “I’ll call you.”
She smirks, leering at me and pursing her lips. “How ‘bout, I call you?” she replies.
A stiff knot forms in my stomach. Maybe she doesn’t want to see me again? Is she giving me the blow off already? Was I too strong handed with her just now?
Shit! Listen to me, the first woman to show interest in me since Ella and I sound like a needy fucking bitch.
Get a grip, Danger.
“Whatever,” I quip.
She smirks. “Good lad,” she says leaning in kissing my lips quickly before she turns and walks out of my hotel room.
I furrow my brows slightly and sigh. I think she was testing me again. She really doesn’t want a guy to flounce all over her. I need to keep my cool with Lunar or I’ll push her away. But seriously I don’t want to be jumping head first into something right now anyway, especially not another long distance affair. I’ve done that. Ella in the UK, me in America.
When I’m finished in Australia, I’ll be going back home to the States, and Lunar is all Aussie. I swear to God, I’m never doing the long distance relationship thing again. I can’t even really entertain a long term relationship idea with Lunar. If it’s to be anything with her, it will be a casual short-term fling while I’m in Oz, and then it’s see-ya-later when I go back to America.
There’s a spring in my step as I close the door and stroll back to the bedroom. I fall down on the bed blowing out a puff of air thinking about what an awesome day I’ve had with her, and we didn’t even have sex. I am, however, pissed that she’s so restricted by that club.
I’m at the Adelaide airport waiting to pick up the guys from their long haul flight from the States. They did a layover in Sydney before coming here, but I bet they’re completely fucked. The arrivals area is buzzing with anticipation while people wait for their loved ones. I have no idea what things will be like when they arrive other than they will be as tired as fuck.
People start to move down the terminal from the arrival area and I tense up with nerves waiting to see my guys. I’m nervous but excited all at the same time. A tall guy with short brown hair gathers my attention first—it’s Matt. I smile widely as he spots me and gives me a curt wave then I spot his twin brother Nate behind him who’s frowning like he’s annoyed at the world. Then I notice the blond haired goofball that I’ve missed so much—Ryan, my best friend. He looks up and nods with a small smile as they all walk toward me.
Leaning forward, I take Matt into a man hug first. It’s been over a year since I’ve seen him and he chuckles in my ear. Then I reach out grabbing Nate’s shoulders and squeeze as he smiles at me. I let go of Matt and turn to look at Ryan. There’s a quiet silence between us. I watch as a thin smile lifts on the corner of his lips. The need to give him a manly hug and back tap takes over, so I grin leaning in and pulling him to me. He embraces me back tightly, and it feels like all the tension might be ebbing away from us.
“I’m sorry for how we left things,” Ryan admits.
“No, don’t be. I deserved it. It’s all worked out. ‘Cause now the band’s back together and we’re all here to start our new journey.”
Ryan nods and slaps my shoulder. “You better hope those assholes haven’t fucked up our guitars, or you’re in deep shit, pretty boy.”
“Yeah, my bass is worth a goddamn fortune, you prick,” Matt says.
“Well then, let’s go and pick up your shit.”
We all walk as a group toward baggage claim and after picking up their luggage and guitars, we hire a mini bus to take us back to the hotel. I’ve checked them all into separate rooms, but they’re next to each other.
Once we’re all settled they all flock to my room, and now we’re sitting in my small space discussing what happens next.
“So, we’re here. What do we do now?” Ryan asks.
“I’ll message Steel and see what our next point of play is.”
Pulling out my cell while Matt plucks at his bass, I type out a message to Steel letting him know the band is with me and what do we do from here. Steel messages through a phone number telling me to call a guy called Techie, and he’ll have more information for us.
“Okay, so Steel says to call this guy Techie. I’m gonna do that now.”
They all nod as Ryan punches Nate in the arm and Matt chuckles. I have no idea what that was about, but I stand up while dialing the number.
It rings twice then he answers, “Yellow?”
I furrow my brows and purse my lips at his weird way of answering the cell, but I quickly get on with talking. “Oh hey, man. The name’s Danger. I’m with
the band… Recoil, and I’ve been referred to you by Steel,” I say hoping I’ve said the right thing.
“Yeah he told me about you guys, I’d like to help you out. I’m a real music fan and I’ve heard some of your stuff. It’s good, real good, so I wanna help. Can I come meet you?”
“Yeah sure. When were you thinking?”
“Now?”
I chuckle. “Sure thing. We’re staying in a hotel so there’s not a shitload of room, but we can make it work.”
“Awesome! Text me the hotel name and I’ll leave now.”
“Okay, thanks, Techie.”
“No worries, see ya soon.”
He hangs up and I look across to Ryan, who’s raising his eyebrow at me. “So, what did he say?”
“He’s coming here… now.”
I quickly text him the hotel name and my room number as the guys all high five each other.
We don’t have to wait long before we hear the sound of a rumbling Harley outside the hotel. A knock comes soon after, and I walk to the door putting on a brave face. This guy could be the start of something big for us so I have to be on my best behavior.
Upon opening the door, the guy standing before me is intimidating. His broad chest is covered in a leather vest, his spiky brown hair and his chiseled jaw with a spattering of growth is all very manly. He’s strong looking with bulging biceps that are covered in tribal ink. He’s tall and has a definite presence about him. The only thing that takes away from his tough biker image is his black rimmed glasses, but somehow he even manages to pull that shit off. If I were a woman, I’d be swooning all over him. I’m not the least bit gay, but I know a good looking man when I see one, and Techie’s a good looking guy.
“Danger?” he asks putting out his hand for me to shake.
“Yep! Techie?” I question.
He nods and I shake his hand. “Nice to meet you. The other guys are in here?”
Nodding, I stand back and let him walk in. He seems like a big teddy bear to be honest, but I have to admit the cut and his stature is definitely intimidating. We walk down to the bedroom and the guys instantly sit up taller.
“Relax guys! I might wear the one percent badge, but I’m not that kind of biker. I’m one of the good guys. I won’t break your legs… unless you deserve it,” he says with a cocky grin.
We all tense up, and he cracks up laughing.
“I’m joking, boys. I’m having a laugh. Did you know that frequent laughter helps the human body fight off harmful diseases? It does this by altering the levels of cortisol in your body. So when you laugh, it lowers your levels of stress and fights off all the nasty and harmful stuff. So you see, boys, you just need to laugh,” he says.
I raise my eyebrow at his little fact session. Lunar was right, he really is a geek, which is in total contrast to the way he looks. It’s actually quite comical, and I can’t help it as a little chuckle escapes my mouth.
“See… there you go. Let that cortisol loose through your body, Danger,” Techie says.
As he says it I break into a fit of laughter, and he smiles like he knows I’m laughing at him.
Ryan, Matt, and Nate are all grinning with hushed chuckles too, and I shake my head as my laughter dies down.
“Okay, well, now that we have the pleasantries out of the way, I guess we need to know how you can help us get started here in Australia.” I take a seat on the couch and he leans back into the cupboard, crossing his legs one over the other and folding his arms.
“Okay, the next point of play is I get you guys into the pubs, clubs and bars around Adelaide for starters, just till you get your mojo back. Then once I have a feel for you and I like what I see, I’ll get in contact with my mates in the industry to come and have a listen to your sound. See if we can line up some bigger venues.”
“Sounds good to me. What do you think guys?” I ask.
“I’m good with that,” Ryan says and Matt and Nate both nod.
“So, how soon can you all start?” Techie asks.
“Well, that’s up to the boys. Not sure how long they need to adjust and for the jet lag to settle—”
“I don’t know about Matt and Nate but I feel like performing as soon as we can. How about two nights, tomorrow to rehearse then perform the next night. I’ve been dying to get back on stage, and I’ve been waiting over a year for the band to be back together,” Ryan states.
“Yeah, I’m not letting some stupid jet lag hold me back,” Nate says.
“Me either,” Matt chimes in.
“Okay, it’s settled then. I’ll set you up to play in a bar in a couple of nights in the city. I suggest looking into hiring a van so you can transport your instruments and shit,” Techie suggests.
“I need to buy a drum kit, and we need to get amps and other stuff we need. We’ve performed before, so we know what we want,” Nate says.
“Awesome. I’ll leave you guys to it and I’ll be in touch with the details. It was great to meet you guys. We’re going to do good things, just you wait and see,” he says nodding his head then turning for the door. I stand up and head out with him.
“Thanks Techie, we really do appreciate you helping us.”
He nods and grins. “It’s my pleasure. Like I said, I’ve heard your stuff. You guys are solid. We can make this happen for you,” he says then turns and walks away, his heavy feet thumping the pavement like some giant caveman. His personality and his look really don’t match. But he seems to be a fantastic guy all round. Turning, I head back down to the bedroom and the guys are grinning.
“So?” I ask.
“He’s cool and really pretty,” Ryan says in an all too effeminate voice making me chuckle.
Nate rolls his eyes and Matt chuckles. “I think if he knows the right people this could be good for us,” Matt suggests.
“Yeah, this could be great. I think he’ll be an asset for sure.”
After spending the rest of the night pigging out on diner food and just hanging with each other, the next morning we set ourselves the task of purchasing a van and the equipment we need. It’s a must have, seeing as our first show is tonight. Without the right equipment we’ll be royally fucked. We’ve pooled our resources and bought a second-hand van, thinking that in the long run it’ll be cheaper than renting one. We can do what we want to it, but also have the option to sell it when we leave the country and recoup some cash.
From the car yard we went to the biggest and best music outlet we could find, and spent up buying equipment, amps, mics, a drum kit and a guitar for me. Then we exhausted ourselves for the rest of the day rehearsing, getting our groove back and making a play list for tonight.
Now we’re setting up at the venue of tonight’s gig. The place is small, but the acoustics are great. It’s nothing like the stadiums we’ve played in, but we’re starting again and we know we have to work from the bottom. It’s a natural progression. Turning around after plugging in my mic, I see Techie walk in and next to him is Lunar. My chest tightens and my cock twitches seeing her in a tight little dress. She looks stunning with her flowing multi-colored hair.
It’s been bugging me that she hasn’t called since our steamy kiss, but I don’t want to seem like that guy, that desperate guy that messages and calls every second to find out where she is and what she’s doing. Not only that, she said she’d call me and I want to respect that.
She smiles at me, so I jump down from the stage and walk over. The smile on my face comes naturally as I lean out to embrace Lunar. She kisses my cheek quickly. I want to bang her against the bar as my cock starts to stiffen because she smells so fucking good. She pulls back looking me up and down.
“Hey Candy, wasn’t sure I was going to see you again.”
She smirks. “I wasn’t sure you were going to either… but hey here we are. Guess I couldn’t keep away.”
Furrowing my brows, I tilt my head as Techie chuckles and walks off leaving us alone. “So, you weren’t going to call me?”
Her shoulders sag slightl
y. “You’re from the US, I’m in a biker club. Sure the chemistry is there, and you’re really fucking hot—”
“But?” I interrupt.
“But I think there’s something about you that is, well… dangerous for the lack of a better word. Whether it’s your fragility or your eagerness to be dominant I’m not sure, but your head is all over the place, Danger. You have to know that.”
Fucking Ella, she isn’t even here and she’s fucking everything up.
“I’m damaged goods?” I ask and she winces.
“It just seems to me that when you came into Strapless you had a severely broken heart, and then you latched onto me pretty quickly.”
It finally clicks. “You don’t want to be the rebound?”
She shrugs. “I don’t want to go leaping into something that’s going to end up with anyone getting hurt. I’ve had enough hurt in my life… you certainly have too. There’s no need to add to it.”
This only makes me like her more. “Then how ‘bout we simply hang out? No expectations. Just spend some time with each other and let fate decide.”
“How very poetic of you,” she says with a smirk.
“I am a musician, I’m supposed to be poetic.”
Lunar giggles. “Okay, we hang out. But don’t expect me to fall for you.”
I chuckle. “Okay, no falling for each other. I got it. Probably a good plan.”
Ryan calls out that we need to do a sound check before the bar opens to the public, and I nod then turn back to look at her.
“Go! Show me what you’re made of, rock star.”
